The start of something good?

Welcome one and all to what is hopefully going to be the start of something beautiful, magical, magnificent, marvellous….. Alright, that will do for the hype just now.

Most of you will know of me already, but if you don’t, please let me give you a bit of background information regarding myself. I am, for my sins, a lifelong Newcastle United fan. I had no choice, I was born into, and despite the many false dawns and disappointments I wouldn’t change it for the world!

I’ve been writing ‘blog entries since November 2009 for a certain other ‘blog, but I thought that perhaps now was the time for me to spread my wings and fly by myself. I am of course very grateful for getting my chance to write about something that I love, but time moves and I would have kicked myself if I hadn’t have had a try at going alone.

The result is this place, or www.nufcblog.info to give it the correct name. This site will hopefully become very familiar to you all in the future as we work togather to build something great where we can all have an input.

I’m new to this designing thing, and it’s taken me a lot of effort and trawling through various articles on Google to get this far, so I’m learning as we go. If you feel you can help make this place better or feel that you have any ideas that can help to improve this place then don’t be shy to share your views – it’s a learning curve for us all!

My ultimate goal is to make this place as busy as it can possibly be, but I can’t do it by myself. I plan on assembling a team of Newcastle United fans who are willing to chew the cud with regard to their club and publish their thoughts on this interweb thingy, but it is going to take time. On my journey around Google earlier I was assured numerous times that time would be the most important thing, so that is all I ask for.

Anyway, that will do for me babbling on for the moment. Welcome along, and strap yourself in for the ride. A very wise man once said “aim for the stars and maybe you’ll reach the sky”, well that logic applies here too.

The journey starts here, but where will it end?

    The plan is that you get the main picture at the tope, then you get the last 6 or so articles underneath it. A bit more snazzzy but the same kind of principle
