According to Bild in Germany, Bayern Munich have officially launched a bid for Jose Enrique.

The bid is reported to be above £9 million but an exact figure has yet to be mentioned.

Who knows if there is any truth in this, but I fear it’s true. Jose wants Champions League football, and Bayern Munich could give it to him. I’d actually find it easier to say goodbye to Jose if he went abroad to a team like Bayern Munich, who are one the largest clubs in Europe to be fair. Anywhere except Liverpool basically!

With no contract talks developing could Jose be saying ‘adios’ to Tyneside?

I fear that he will be!

Wanna do an article on Larsson just to say you’ve done it??

Anyway re Enrique bid we must try and squeeze potential suitors into £12-15M.

I’m still pretty annoyed at enrique-it wasn’t too long ago he was saying how he loved tyneside and how he’d be happy to see his career out at newcastle. Pretty sure that was even in the championship? Or maybe when we just got to the Prem? Still, no loyalty in the modern game, and I guess you can say he deserves to be playing in Europe, shame he’s not pushing for it with us but what can you do?

NewkieBrown – Maybe Enrique has just had it with Owlie and Mike. Fair enogh, cant blame him to be honest and I would wish him the best, anywhere but cesspool. If he doesnt buy into their future plans then lets get him to Bayern or whereever now when he is something worth.

    NewkieBrown says:

APP-True mate, I guess Bayern wouldn’t be so bad, and everyone says its only liverpool they’d be annoyed at, but wouldn’t you be annoyed at Bolton, or Spurs for example? I know I would. I realise Enrique might be pissed off at the ownership and he clearly respected Hughton as a boss, but even so its a shame he didn’t want to help push us on. Funny how the club he goes to will determine how much people slate him afterwards

NewkieBrown – yeah you’re right. But I guess it natural that we dont want to see him at our direct competition. Wouldnt be surprise if that wheeler dealer that spurs tried for him. :???:

ill help him will send him my 2p then, you can send yours by carrier pigeon

    toonsy says:

Newkie – I guess it because if he goes abroad he won’t be helping our direct competition to the detriment of us, plus he won’t be in our face every week!

    AlanPardewProject says:

NewkieBrown – aye nice spelling  right about that asso guy. But if we deal with spurs we’ll have to be hard. Maybe Krancjar or try for Dos Santos for cheap with lots of cash too. Still I wouldnt do it if it was me. Too painful to watch Enrique in another PL team.

  33. 33
    Big Dave says:

Batty @ 30 its good of ye ;-)

  34. 34
    NewkieBrown says:

Yeah, I can’t see him going to Spurs to be fair, Ashley and Arry are too similar-they’d never settle for a deal and it would drag on far too long, even for our usual transfer targets. Would be painful to see him at Spurs though, maybe if we get back into europe in five years time, Enrique could make an emotional return? I’d probably welcome him back…unlike Carroll, couldn’t believe some of the media were speculating he could return a hero ala shearer blah blah, they don’t know sh1te.

  35. 35
    icedog says:

dave i bet ya you have been stuck in front of the tele all day :?:

  40. 40
    AlanPardewProject says:

you’re right NewkieBrown. judas will never be able to make a return the way he left on the last day of a transfer window. Maybe you’re right about Enrique too. If we could get back to Europe in a couple of years, it might be a possibility for an emotional return. Dont think he will have any beef with any of the fans if he went aboard.

  41. 41

If this happens, I hope it’s after the Columbus Crew match. If I do get to go, I’ll be wearing my Jose Kit.
Then I have to find a new name to wear…that sucks.
It’s getting to the point where I am just going to put my own name on the darn kit and go from there.

I suppose if i want a player that will be here until he retires, I should go with Ameobi…

    lesh says:

Bayern will have put a €9m bid in – well as the NUFC PR machine’d have it. It’s inevitable tha Jose’s on hir bike soon and it’s playing the market. As far as ‘Arry doing owt this side of hir trial, fórget it.
Levy’s not gonna let him near the till ’til his case is decided. HMRC’ll be building a strong case and we may yet see an England manager pondering the prospect of managing from Durham.

I actually want him to go Bayern, I know the sounds odd…. but, he’s going to go. I’d rather not have to watch him play, and they’re a decent team to watch in champo league. As long as it’s not LIverpool i spose

Jobey07…if Jose does leave I would prefer him to head to FC Bayern too. This year however they are struggling, and may not even play in the Champs League, probably in the euro league. Cost the big cloggy Louis Van Gaaaaaaal his job in the end…
