We have some extended match highlights of the rather superb 3-0 victory over Manchester United last night for you now.
Enjoy it while you can I'll say. It's the first time we've beaten Manchester United in over a decade and to do it so convincingly and actually deserve the win was a joy to behold. Have another look.
As a little bit of a bonus I've tracked down the full 90 minute download of the match. I used to do it for every game but the site they came from went missing for a bit so I stopped looking. Now I realise that there are little bits and bobs of the post-match interviews in the highlights at the start, but below are the full ones. As always we'll start with the Silver Fox that is Alan Pardew, who had annoyed some fans with his team selection prior to the match.
Meanwhile Sir Alex Ferguson was suitably complimentary about Newcastle. To be honest given the way that his side was outplayed and outmanoeuvred by Alan Pardew's men.
The win has certainly put a smile back on my face. To a man we were excellent and fully deserved the victory. The sad thing is that this is the last we'll see of Demba Ba and Cheik Tiote as they jet off to Africa. We now have two home games in which to build on this game and if the players who are left can't take confidence from it then there is something wrong.
