Game On! Chelsea v Newcastle

Game on at Chelsea!
Welcome one and all to our “Game On” article which this evening will take us through every twist and turn of the game at Stamford Bridge.

It is an unfortunate fact perhaps, but we are fast running out of football this season. On the plus side though we at least have something to play for, and that is rather amazingly a stab at qualifying for the Champions League. I’m not going to go through it again as everyone knows what is needed.

The odds are slim of course with three tough games remaining, but whilst it’s still mathematically possible we have to make sure we give it our best shot, which is something the players failed to do during the 4-0 weekend loss to Wigan.

I’ll leave it there for this game as not much else needs adding really. However if you do wish to read a bit more background on the match then by all means feel free to have a quick read of the match preview which details any news of injuries, suspension and a bit of history about the fixture.

Unfortunately the TV cameras have chosen to show the Bolton v Tottenham game this evening which means that we won’t be broadcast here in the UK. In turn that means that if you happen to come across any decent streams that you’d like to share by way of leaving a comment then you will be more than welcome to.

Team news will be featured below in full as and when it becomes available.

  2. …love rewinding futbarl me like. Ivanovic looked like the bad puppy who shart on the couch, in the post Ba elbow backlash.

…Torres is such a fucking ponce anyway, reminds iz of one of those twats who hang around in gangs and just assume they’re hard until someone confronts them. Fortunately, Drogba has a larger head than Ba so that fight was neutralised.

    PHEW 😯

  4. …nifty clearance off the line by Santon too like. We’ve had a fair few of them this season, good to see. 😯

…far better than the old Kieron Dyer “leaning on a lampost on the corner of the street until a certain lucky contract comes by” technique.

  6. Incredible performance. When Ba hit the bar I was worried Chelsea might come out strong in the second half, but we were the better team. We played the better football.

Just simply outstanding. We deserve no worse than fifth this year.
