Newcastle handed tricky start to season

by toonsy · 18 June 2012, 10:31

Can we put on another Sho against Sours? Newcastle will kick off next season at home to Tottenham Hotspur on 18th of August, followed up one week later by a trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea.

The two derby dates can be added to your diary as follows. We take a trip to the village of the damned October 20th with the return match at St James' Park being played on April 13th.

If you're after some festive cheer then I'd look elsewhere. Somehow the fixture computer has "randomly" managed to send us to Old Trafford on Boxing Day with a trip to Arsenal penned in three days later. However we are at least back on home home turf for New Years Day when Everton will visit SJP.

In another plus point, we get to finish the season in front of our own fans for a change with Arsenal being the visitors on the final day of the season on May 19th. You can see the full fixture list below.
