Game On! Newcastle Vs Swansea

Magpies v Swans
Magpies v Swans
Welcome one and all to this ‘Game On’ article which will take us through the highs and lows as we play host to Swansea in this afternoons Premier league game (3pm kick-off), Newcastle United will be looking to end their record equaling six-game losing run,as im sure JC will not want to lose 7 in a row and gain a new record.
We go into the fixture on the back of a 3-1 home defeat against Spurs, while Swansea also lost last time out – going down 2-0 at relegation-threatened Leicester City.
When the sides met earlier this season, Papiss Cisse scored twice as Newcastle twice came from behind to earn a point at the Liberty Stadium, cancelling out goals from Wilfried Bony and Wayne Routledge.
Speaking ahead of the game JC said “Swansea are a side who will try and keep the ball and so we’ll have to be patient at times, but I’ve got to come up with a winning formula and get the three points. I remember in the fixture last year they got a very late winner in the death of the game that killed us off a little bit. We know what they’re about and we know their strengths and weaknesses but it’s about us now. We got a good draw earlier in the season and we’re looking to take that one step further this weekend.”

  1. What a complete mess this club is in! It’s actually quite unbelievable how we are being run.

Ashley doesn’t deserve a PL football club and he will get what he deserves in the end.

  3. Anyone who thinks the protests aren’t working will be surprised that Charnley has brought forward the fans forum meeting so they can discuss the current problems and in a letter to the forum fans they admit mistakes have been made and ask that all supporters back the players for the last five games.

They’re panicked, make no mistake. We have all the power!

  4. Stuart 79 too right they’re panicking. Stewards demanding people handover the little red Ashley Out leaflets yesterday, Fatso not turning up for the second home game on the trot when he thought trouble was brewing, being bombarded with emails begging anyone to buy discounted match tickets etc etc, Carver losing the plot even more by allegedly offering fans out again, players not caring asthey will be off. Expect a massive pr push by Bishop – the team need us, the owner hears you, big spend planned yada yada yada.
