So it’s claret and Blue and Deja vu

westhamSo there you are, yet again we contrive to shoot ourselves in the foot. Having gone 1.0 up and taking a tiny bit of control we take our foot off the break and let a very poor QPR over the threshold then compound it by conceding a second and winner of the game. If it was a miracle that Riviere scored after what’s felt like a lifetime then it’s an even bigger one that such a poor QPR side could come out second half and dominate us when we were cruising. When oh when will our players realise they have to fight tooth and nail to stay in this league? We can count ourselves lucky Hull lost today because we still get a second chance to survive against West Ham next week. Had they won I think we’d be all but down already. Not one player for Newcastle can say they played their heart out today and that’s the scary part. Frankly I don’t think they care anymore either, which begs the question why the hell should we?

Our goal difference is terrible and I’m not sure even a point will be enough next week. Once again we are praying Hull slip up next week and Sunderlands form drops. It will be Sunderland, Newcastle and Hull scrapping it out on the last day just like the season we went down. That season was claret &blue opposition on the final day and Hull finished above us and you just know history is gonna repeat it’self.

  1. Everything is alien to NUFC when it comes to football matters. Think of a everyday company who is in a midweek football league. We take the football side of things about as serious as that.
