Well we expect that anyway… however, this is a must win game and if the lads don’t pull off a result today then no doubt the general consensus will be that we will be playing Championship footy next season.

On Stuart Pearce, he’s played for NUFC, an England international, managed Man City in the premier league and coached the England u21s for years.
I don’t think he has a bad record. He is a very passionate person and as a stand in until the end of the season I would say he’s a very good option.

I’ve got this horrible feeling that the club won’t be able to find anybody willing to take the job as described by the club and we will be left with McClaren to go down.
It all seems to hinge on having a replacement which might be normal but the speed this club works and the limitations the coach has on the club make sit very difficult imo.
