Newcastle United are ready to allow the duo of Cheick Tiote and Henri Saivet to leave St. James’ Park this summer, according to reports from the Shields Gazette.

Rafael Benitez is sure to be overseeing a mass overhaul at Newcastle United this summer and a host of players are expected to be leaving within the next two months or so.

Long serving defender Steven Taylor has already departed, while the likes of Fabricio Coloccini, Moussa Sissoko and Georginio Wijnaldum also look all but certain to be leaving.

Now according to reports from the Shields Gazette, claims have been made that Newcastle are set to dispense with the services of Cheick Tiote and Henri Saivet as well.

Tiote has entered the final year of his contract at St. James’ Park and claims have been made that the Ivory Coast international is set to leave this summer in search of a new challenge.

Saivet was a January acquisition for the Magpies but he struggled for regular playing time under Benitez and the future of the Frenchman at the club remains very uncertain at the moment.
