Newcastle United star seen as alternative if £100 million transfer falls through

Sissoko

Manchester United will make a move for Moussa Sissoko if their £100 million pursuit of Juventus star Paul Pogba does not come into fruition, according to reports from Le 10 Sport.

Manchester United have been grabbing most of the headlines in recent times with their pursuit of Juventus star Paul Pogba and it has been widely reported that the Red Devils are ready to splash as much as £100 million in order to secure the services of the French superstar.

While it is unlikely that Juventus will be rejecting such an astronomical bid, United are believed to be drawing up contingency plans if their pursuit for Pogba does not come into fruition and now according to reports from Le 10 Sport, revelations can be made that the Premier League giants have identified Moussa Sissoko as an alternative to the French international.

It has been clear for quite a while now that Sissoko is eyeing a move away from Newcastle this summer and along with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, even Manchester United are now said to be keen on signing the 26-year-old.
