French report states that Real Madrid interested in Newcastle United man

Sissoko

Spanish giants Real Madrid have now joined in the race to sign Moussa Sissoko, according to reports from Eurosport France.

Moussa Sissoko is intent on leaving Newcastle United this summer and the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal have all been mentioned as the potential destinations for the French international.

Manager Rafael Benitez recently stated that Newcastle do not want to sell Sissoko this summer but it is very unlikely that the Magpies will be able to convince the 26-year-old to stay put, especially given the level of interest in his services.

Now it will be extra difficult for Newcastle to keep hold of Sissoko this summer if reports from Eurosport France are to be believed as even European Champions Real Madrid have joined in the race to sign the midfielder.

Madrid recently backed out from their pursuit of Paul Pogba due to his huge price tag and it has been claimed that Zinedine Zidane has viewed Sissoko as a cheaper alternative.
