Newcastle United will make two more signings after landing Clark and Diame

According to reports from the Chronicle, Newcastle United will be making two more signings following the arrivals of Ciaran Clark and Mohamed Diame.

Newcastle United have evidently been extremely busy in the transfer market so far this summer and the Magpies are widely believed to be on the verge further strengthening their squad with the signings of Ciaran Clark and Mohamed Diame.

The additions of the experienced duo will surely be a big boost for Newcastle in their hopes of claiming the Championship title this season and the Magpies probably possess the strongest side in the division at the moment.

Upon the signings of Clark and Diame, Newcastle will have spent in excess of £40 million in the transfer market this summer but despite the massive splurge, the Chronicle claim that manager Rafael Benitez is still keen on making two more signings.

According to the report, Benitez is currently in the market to sign an experienced striker as well as a winger and the Spaniard is confident of bringing in the desired personnel before the transfer window slams shut this month.
