Report: Newcastle United to use Sissoko to sign £13million-rated Premier League midfielder

Newcastle United are hopeful of swapping wantaway Moussa Sissoko with Everton midfielder James McCarthy, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

Moussa Sissoko has incessantly been linked with a move away from Newcastle United this summer but despite all the speculation surrounding his future, the Frenchman remains on the ranks at St. James’ Park at the moment.

With less than a week to go before the end of the summer transfer window, it is widely expected that teams will be looking to ramp up their pursuit to sign Sissoko in the coming days and it has recently been claimed that Premier League side Everton are reportedly planning a move for the 26-year-old.

Newcastle have welcomed the interest from Everton but are firm that they will not allow Sissoko to leave if their asking price of around £35 million is not met.

Now in surprise reports from the Daily Mail, claims have been made that Newcastle are hopeful of brokering a deal for Sissoko by including James McCarthy in the mix.

Newcastle are interested in signing McCarthy this summer and revelations have been made that the Magpies are open to a swap deal involving the Republic of Ireland international and Sissoko.
