Newcastle United legend Kevin Keegan is extremely confident that his former club will be plying their trade in the Premier League next season.
Newcastle United had suffered a devastating relegation from the Premier League last season but the club have most certainly rebuilt their squad very well under manager Rafael Benitez.
Following a shaky start to the season, the new look Newcastle side are enjoying a stunning run of form and many now feel that the Magpies will be able to walk their way back into the Premier League, especially after the 6-0 thumping of Queens Park Rangers recently.
Given the brilliant run of form, it is not surprising to see many associated with Newcastle in confident mood and now club legend Kevin Keegan has gone on to state his belief that his former side should be able to earn promotion into the Premier League without much fuss.
Keegan told the Daily Mirror, “Newcastle should be in the Premier League. They’re not in there at the moment, but they will be this time next year. I wish Rafa all the luck in the world.”
