NUFC Duo Feature In Impressive Win

As reported by NUFC.co.uk, there was another goal for Adam Armstrong, representing England under-20s, scoring in a 4-1 win over Iran, in South Korea.

The hotshot, who is currently on loan at fellow Championship side Barnsley, already managed to score a hat-trick against Nigeria on Wednesday.

Armstrong only played the first half and Freddie Woodman started in goal, which is more good news for Newcastle United.

Having two promising young English players seems a thing of the past for most clubs, but both Armstrong and Woodman are developing well and both with feel that they have every chance of making the grade at Newcastle.

Armstrong in particular, is showing great signs of improvement, proving himself to be far more than just a finisher. He also has a great touch and superb close control, making him a very exciting player to watch and with the youngster likely to return in January he could be the best signing that Newcastle make in that window.
