The Championship Hotshot Who Could Cost Newcastle £15million

As reported by the Chronicle, Newcastle United are in the market for Brentford striker, Scott Hogan and have been warned that he could cost them up to £15million.

Hogan, who has been in impressive form this season, scoring thirteen goals this term.

When asked about his player, Brentford manager Dean Smith said:  “He’ll be in a marketplace and the market tells you the value of it. The market has set its stall as to the price. I think his goals record puts him into a bracket.”

“He takes each day as it comes as, against Cardiff, he felt he should have scored. He’s looking forward to taking on Norwich and getting chances and scoring them.”

Hogan would no doubt be an asset to any Championship club but with Brentford unlikely to want to sell, Newcastle may have to turn their attentions to other targets, in order to help them secure promotion.
