How Many Changes Are Likely To Be Made Following Oxford Defeat

After the embarrassment against Oxford United, there is little doubt in anyone’s mind that Rafa Benitez will make changes for the game against QPR this Wednesday.

The question is, however, just how manage changes are likely to be made?

From back to front, it is likely that wholesale changes will be made.

Matz Sels will no doubt be replaced by regular ‘keeper Karl Darlow.

Both Grant Hanley and Curtis Good will make way for Jamaal Lascelles and Ciaran Clark and it would be highly unusual if Paul Dummett and DeAndre Yedlin were not recalled at fullback.

Jonjo Shelvey will come in for Dan Barlaser while Matt Ritchie, Yoan Gouffran and Daryl Murphy will no doubt return.

The two main talking points are the places of Isaac Hayden and Ayoze Perez.

Both have played well in recent weeks but with Chancel Mbemba and Mo Diame back from the African Cup of Nations, could they be set to take their place in the team?
