Newcastle traveled to St Andrews this afternoon looking to extend their lead over second and third placed Brighton and Huddersfield. A frustrating 0-0 draw however saw the visitors leave with a share of the spoils, leaving the NUFC wondering if it was one point gained or two points dropped.
We took to Twitter to gauge the mood amongst both Newcastle and Birmingham fans:
We could be top of the league on 100 points and some muppets would still find reasons to moan. Probably the same knackers who boo at home

If we had won & Huddersfield had won, we would be happy. So why are people complaining when we've gained a point on them? Unbelievable. NUFC

Guess what?! We got a point and Huddersfield didn't. Ergo, we're in a better position now than we were yesterday. That'll dee me #NUFC

It's not 2 points dropped it's 1 point closer #NUFC

Here are what some of the oppositions fans had to say about the visitors Newcastle and their own teams performance:
We looked organised today. Thought we played well and made Newcastle look average at times. If Zola keeps this up panos will sack him #bcfc

A point would of been a great result 10 games ago ! Newcastle were poor, and to wait till the 85th for a sub joke #zolaout #bcfc
— Mike Radford (@Radford6) March 18, 2017
Not the prettiest of games but we looked organised and worked as a team. We did enough to frustrate Newcastle but at the expense of style.

Great display from all the lads today. If only we could play with that desire every week. Been critical of a few, but hats off today #BCFC

The final word has to go to the man of the match, Tomasz Kuszczak, who produced a number of fine saves to keep The Magpies at bay & earn The Blues a precious point.
? With 66% of the vote, @TomKuszczak was your @FostersUK Man of the Match!
Great performance, Tomasz ?? #BCFC pic.twitter.com/IIozVZtI8J
