Sky Sports report this morning that Newcastle are on of three Premier League sides interested in a move for Brentford winger Jota.
The report claims Newcastle will battle Everton and West Ham for the Spanish playmaker who bagged an impressive 12 goals and 5 assists in just 21 appearances for Brentford last season.
We understand Newcastle are one of three Premier League clubs to express an interest in Brentford's Spanish attacker Jota.

The 25-year-old, formerly at Celta Vigo and Real Madrid B, is about to enter the final year of his current contract and is said to be available for a fee in the region of £8m this summer.
I must say that I have been impressed by what i’ve seen whenever I caught a glimpse of Jota last season, and it seems several Premier League clubs have also took note, with Burnley and Swansea having scouted the Spaniard towards the back end of last season.
Newcastle need wingers and whilst a more proven Premier League winger will be required this summer, Jota would be a surprisingly handy addition from what i’ve seen of him.
Here’s him in action – what a goal this is!
Reminds me a bit of ginola build, turn of pace, and his touches are top rate
