Newcastle United have this afternoon announced another pre-season friendly set to take place this summer, confirming that Rafa Benitez’s side will travel to Germany on Wednesday 2nd August to take on Wolfsburg (4pm kick off).
The trip to Germany in August is the fourth pre-season game to be confirmed this summer, and will follow trips to Hearts (14th July, 7.45pm), Preston North End (22nd July, 3pm) and Bradford City (26th July, 7.30pm).
Interestingly, the club have advised fans not to arrange any travel to Germany just yet, confirming that there is likely to be another pre-season friendly in Germany announced in the coming days (rumour is it’s Mainz).
