Transfer talk – a round up of today’s NUFC transfer gossip – 12/07/2017

Today’s round up of all NUFC related transfer talk:

  • Newcastle fans have urged Rafa Benitez to look at Kurt Zouma after the Chelsea centre-back has entered talks with Stoke and West Brom over a potential loan move.
  • Some good news as The Chronicle reveal winger target Jacob Murphy is keen on a move to Newcastle for a chance to play under Rafa Benitez in the Premier League.
  • NUFC have attempted to hijack Fulham’s deal for 24-year-old Bordeaux striker, Diego Rolan. [Sud Ouest]
  • Emmanuel Riviere could be set to finally leave the club, with Ligue 1 side Metz opening talks to sign the Newcastle United flop (L’Equipe).

  • Reports in Holland claim Newcastle , Everton and Crystal Palace all want to sign Ajax defender Jairo Riedewald, however Palace are the favourites given new manager Frank De Boer managed him at Ajax.
  • Crystal Palace have completed the loan signing of Ruben Loftus-Cheek – the Chelsea midfielder who Benitez was believed to be considering this summer.
  • Newcastle could turn their attentions back to Fabian Delph as Leicester have entered the race to sign James McCarthy and could be ready to pay Everton’s hefty asking price (Northern Echo)
  • Blow for Benitez as top goalkeeping target Pepe Reina looks set to sign a new deal at Napoli according to reports in Italy.
