Murphy was one of the stand out performers for Norwich last season, scoring 13 and assisting 6 goals in all competitions, having also impressed during England U-21’s run to semi-finals of the European Championships this summer.
Here’s some clips of Murphy in the Championship last season to wet the appetite:

Murphy looks direct, fast and someone who’ll provide a real goal thread for Newcastle, cutting in from the left on his favoured right foot.
An exciting talent and a welcome addition to the club.
