Today’s round up of all NUFC related transfer talk:

  • Newcastle’s interest in Arsenal striker Lucas Perez has been confirmed, with The Gunners setting a £13.4m price tag on the want-away Spaniard (The Chronicle).
  • Emmanuel Riviere & Massaido Haidara’s moves to Metz and St. Etienne respectively have broken down according to reports in France.
  • According to reports in Spain, Rafa Benitez has made contact with the agent of Atletico Madrid attacker Angel Correa in a bid to lure the Argentinian to St. James’ Park this summer – Real Madrid’s Lucas Vazquez is also a player Benitez is a ‘big fan’ of (Mi Otra Liga.com)

  •  The Chronicle have also credited NUFC with an interest in Liverpool’s Danny Ings as Rafa Benitez looks intent on stepping up his hunt for a striker.
  • Grant Hanley has been offered to Birmingham City, with Benitez looking to offload the fifth-choice centre-back this summer (The Chronicle).
