According to reports from the Northern Echo, Newcastle United are on the verge of securing the services of Kenedy from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal.
Following a very poor start to the season, it is clear to see that Newcastle United most certainly have to strengthen their squad during the final days of the transfer window in order to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle this term.
As a result, manager Rafael Benitez is said to be working extremely hard to bring in new faces to St. James’ Park and according to reports from the Northern Echo, claims have been made that the Magpies are close to landing the services of Chelsea man Kenedy.
Kenedy is a talented left sided attacker who can fill in at the full-back position as well and Benitez is said to have identified the 21-year-old as a priority target as he is currently short of options on the left side of the pitch.
Now it has been revealed that Newcastle are on the verge of signing Kenedy on a season long loan deal and the Tyneside based outfit are said to be hopeful of confirming the Brazilian’s signing ahead of their next Premier League clash against West Ham United this weekend.
