According to reports from HITC, Newcastle United have been offered up the services of Ecuadorian international Cristian Ramirez.
Newcastle United clearly have to strengthen in various areas of the pitch during the final days of the summer transfer window and bringing in a new left-back will surely be high on the priority list for the Magpies.
Achraf Lazaar is widely expected to be leaving St. James’ Park in the coming days while Paul Dummett has been ruled out till November and as a result, manager Rafael Benitez is currently said to be working towards signing a new left-back.
It was reported recently that Newcastle were monitoring the situation of Independiente’s Nicolas Tagliafico and now according to reports from HITC, Russian side FC Kransnodar have offered the Premier League side the opportunity to sign Ecuadorian international Cristian Ramirez.
Ramirez only joined Kransodar in January earlier this year but the Russian side are now said to be looking to raise funds by selling the attacking full-back this summer and Newcastle are one of the clubs allegedly approached.
Ramirez is an exciting left-back who has been likened to legendary Brazilian Roberto Carlos due to his playing style but like many rumors, it remains to be seen as to whether Newcastle will make a genuine attempt to sign the 23-year-old.
