A well earned reward for NUFC captain Jamaal Lascelles today, who has been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for September – however our skipper needs your vote to win the award!
The 23-year old has enjoyed a superb start to life back in the top flight, putting in some monstrous defensive displays – including a goal-saving clearance to deny Tammy Abraham at Swansea – as well two match winning goals against Swansea and Stoke.
Lascelles is in seriously good company, with fellow nominees being Manchester City’s Sergio Agüero and Kevin de Bruyne, Brighton’s Pascal Gross, Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata, Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku and Tottenham’s Harry Kane all in the mix to win the POTM award for September.
