Michael Owen makes TWO predictions ahead of Man Utd vs Newcastle this weekend

Michael Owen has shared his slightly one-sided thoughts ahead of our trip to Old Trafford this weekend, predicting Man Utd will win 2-0 AND Romelu Lukaku will end his goal drought.

The Belgian striker was on fire at the start of the season, but has failed to score in his last seven games for United – but Owen expects him to rediscover his goalscoring form against us this weekend.

In his weekly preview of the Premier League’s upcoming fixtures for Bet Victor, here’s what he’s had to say ahead of our trip to Manchester on Saturday night:

“It was good to see Romelu Lukaku back among the goals during the international break and I think the striker can end his current barren spell against the Magpies.

“The Belgium international scored 11 goals in his first ten games for United but has not scored for seven games and his three goals for Belgium in their two recent friendlies will have done his confidence the world of good.”

Prediction: Manchester United 2-0 Newcastle (Lukaku to score)

His tips: Lukaku to score anytime (8/11) and Manchester United to beat us 2-0 (19/4).

As you may have gathered, Owen doesn’t actually mention us at all here.

In fairness, it’s hard to begrudge his 2-0 prediction given we’re all expecting a very tough game, but he’s decided to have a bit of a love-in for Lukaku opposed to discussing the actual game between Mourinho and Rafa’s two sides.
