Some welcome news has arrived ahead of Saturday’s trip to West Ham, with news that midfield trio Mark Noble, Marko Arnautovic and Manuel Lanzini look set to miss our crucial trip to the London Stadium this weekend.
Noble (hamstring) and Arnautovic (calf) are injury doubts, whilst Lanzini has been charged by the FA following a blatant dive over the weekend – meaning a two-game ban looks imminent.
Hello @FA, two game ban for Manuel Lanzini please. pic.twitter.com/QnwlUaif8W

Mark Noble [hamstring] and Marko Arnautovic [calf] are early doubts for the Newcastle game. Pablo Zabaleta is expected to recover from a dead leg. #WHUFC

West Ham have been superb in recent weeks, beating Stoke 3-0 on Saturday following a home win and a draw against Chelsea and Arsenal prior to that.
The absence of this trio would be a blow however, with them being key to their revival under David Moyes in recent weeks. Noble and Arnautovic got on the scoresheet on Saturday and Lanzini provided the assist for all three of their goals.
Andy Carroll could return for the Hammers on Saturday, but they look likely to be without Kouyate and Fonte once again – not that they’ve missed them in recent weeks, but it will limit their rotation across their busy spell of fixtures (they play in the Carabo Cup quarter final tonight!).
I expect revenge for the embarrassing 3 – 0 whacking that you gave us when we had the inept Bilic in charge.

Arnautovic and Noble are fine
Chicharito will come in for Lanzini if our appeal fails which I expect it to

I hope not for our sakes! You boys are in much much better form than us right now mind.
On that note, we need a West Ham fan to answer a few questions before the game. Fancy dropping us an email at [email protected] ??
