It was confirmed late last night that Brazilian wide man Kenedy arrived in Newcastle ahead of his proposed loan move from Chelsea, with Conte finally sanctioning his move to St James’ Park at the second attempt from Rafa.
Before we get to some highly intriguing comments from Chelsea fans who’ll know him well, here’s him arriving at Central Station last night!

So, he’s on Tyneside and is expected to complete his medical today, and several Chelsea fans have had their say about the 21-year-old Brazilian on social media – with their comments making VERY interesting reading for us NUFC fans.
It seems fans sit on two sides of the fence when it comes to Kenedy, with fans either
Here’s what they’ve had to say:

Kenedy finally get the loan move he deserves, shame we kept him here till Jan instead of loaning him last summer.
Let's hope Rafa uses Kenedy properly and aids his growth!

Bit disappointed Kenedy is off now. Think his last two appearances have been his best in a Chelsea shirt. #CFC

Kennedy is a wonderful talent..hope the loan move brings the best out of him.
So far it has worked very well for Zouma & RLC hope it works for the samba lad too (:

If we’re signing Emerson permanently, then surely makes sense to sell Kenedy as opposed to loan him. Let’s be real, he’s finished at Chelsea. #cfc #kenedy

A very mixed response. Some seem disappointed to see him go and clearly rate him highly (and feel Rafa will develop his game), while a few others have suggested he may not be up for the fight at NUFC and should be sold following the imminent arrival of Roma left-back Ederson Palmieri.
He’ll certainly give us something different by the sounds of it. Whether that will be a good thing or a bad thing, only time will tell!
