Confirmation of an outgoing at NUFC this morning, as it has been announced that Henri Saivet has completed a loan move to Sivasspor – with the Turkish side understood to have an option to buy the midfielder in the summer.
The 27-year-old has featured in the first-team just twice all season, scoring in the 3-2 win at West Ham in December and featuring in an unconvincing FA Cup defeat at Chelsea on Sunday.
Following his £5m arrival from Bordeaux in January 2016, he’s made just SIX appearances for the club, highlighting just why it was right for all parties to allow him to leave.

Here’s what the Senegalese international has had to say following the completion of his move to Turkey – with him excited to play alongside Brazilian forward Robinho whose currently at the club:
“I am very happy. For me Robinho is a brilliant player.
“I am pleased to have a chance to play alongside him.
“I want our fans to support us and hopefully I can play good in the future.”
Good luck to the lad. He clearly never let his head drop and kept going in the background at NUFC, even if it never looked likely that he’d become part of Benitez’s plans.
