- Islam Slimani (Leicester – loan) – The Chronicle have announced tonight that the arrival of the Leicester City striker is now ‘imminent’ after the Algerian flew into Newcastle today and completed his medical. Expect him to sign any minute now!
- Martin Dubravka (Sparta Prague – loan with option) – Again, this one seems all but done. He’s on Tyneside as we speak and SKY have confirmed that he’s headed straight to St James’ Park to complete his medical before watching tonight’s game alongside fellow new-boy Slimani.

- Aleksandar Mitrovic (Anderlecht – loan) – The Serbian had arrived in Brussels tonight after NUFC agreed a deal with Anderlecht to allow the striker to return to his former club for the remainder of the season, HOWEVER, there’s wew claims that the deal is now OFF.

- Jack Colback (Nottingham Forest – loan) – After initially turning down Hull City, Colback is all set for a move to Forest according to Sky Sports tonight.

- Freddie Woodman (Aberdeen – loan) – The U-23 stopper has been waiting to go out on loan and Sky have confirmed that he’ll seal a move to the SPL with Aberdeen once Martin Dubravka is confirmed by NUFC – which should be in the next hour or so.
- *DONE* – Jamie Sterry (Crewe – loan) – The NUFC youngster has tonight completed a loan move to the League Two side tonight.
And that should be that, will all of the above deals expected to be completed before the 11pm deadline tonight.
NUFC were believed to have looked at a potential third signing of the day, but it looks like our business will be concluded following the signings of Slimani & Dubravka:
