Aleksandar Mitrovic may have earned huge praise from Fulham fans recently, but Nottingham Forest fans have also been expressing their love for NUFC loanee Jack Colback this week – raving about his latest performances and urging the club to sign him permanently.
Since securing his deadline day loan move to Forest, it hasn’t taken long for the forgotten NUFC midfielder to make an impact.
Despite playing just three U-23 fixtures on Tyneside all season prior to his January move away, he came straight into Aitor Karanka’s Forest side for their trip to Fulham on February 2nd and has played the full 90 in each and every game ever since.
Forest fans appear to have taken to him quickly, with several fans posting on social media just how impressed they’ve been by him in their recent win over Birmingham and draw away to Norwich over the past week.
Here’s what they’ve had to say on Twitter:
What about that tackle on the edge of the area by Colback in the first half. Their bloke would have been clean through. That's the difference players like him and Watson have made. #nffc

Even a Birmingham City fan got involved, admitting how Colback ‘ran the show’ in their defeat to Forest over the weekend:
Proper impressed with #NFFC today, excellent manager with a matching team. Colback, Watson and Tomlin ran the show. forest > Derby
