Match of the Day host Gary Lineker was clearly left impressed by Rafa Benitez’s NUFC on Sunday, and took to Twitter to praise Ayoze Perez and DeAndre Yedlin for their work in our ‘fine’ equaliser against Arsenal.
It was a brilliant goal full of quality, starting with Shelvey’s stunning pass in behind for Gayle and ending with Yedlin’s brilliant low cross which was dispatched so cleverly by Perez at the near post.
The goal was clearly appreciated by former England striker Gary Lineker, with him praising both Perez and Yedlin for our ‘mighty fine’ equaliser:

An underrated manager and an underrated goal from the in-form Ayoze Perez – a revitalised player who now has 3 goals in his last 3.
Credit to Yedlin for the cross too. His final ball can often let him down, but it did anything but on this occasion!
