  • During a radio interview in Spain today, Rafa Benitez has admitted that he’s flattered by links to Arsenal, but is in touch with the NUFC board over a potential new contract – confirming he would like to stay at Newcastle ‘in principle’ – Full story here. 
  • After his outstanding form on loan at Fulham, it’s emerged that West Ham, Crystal Palace and Burnley have all registered their interest in signing in-form NUFC striker Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer – Full story here. 
  • According to Turkish Football, Newcastle scouts were present to watch Trabzonspor midfielder Okay Yokuslu in action during his side’s Super Lig clash with Osmanlispor last night – Full story here.
