After his outstanding form on loan at Fulham, it’s emerged that West Ham, Crystal Palace and Burnley have all registered their interest in signing in-form NUFC striker Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer.
The Serbian has been in devastating form since securing a loan move to Fulham in January, scoring 10 Championship goals in just 12 games so far.
Those at Craven Cottage will be desperate to sign the 23-year-old permanently this summer, but claims from Italy have suggested that West Ham, Palace and Burnley will also compete for his signature.
Fulham’s style of play and Slavisa Jokanovic appear to be a perfect match for Mitro, but any permanent move to West London may depend on their promotion to the Premier League – and they’re currently one point adrift from Cardiff in the second automatic promotion place.
The Chronicle claim that Marseille, Bordeaux and ex-club Anderlecht are all long-term admirers who will be in the mix to sign him this summer, so it seems there’ll be no shortage of interest in the Serbian – which is no real surprise.
The big question on my mind following these claims is will Rafa sell to a Premier League rival? Should Fulham get promoted, all of these will be clubs competing with NUFC next season..
Time will tell, but we’re certainly in a position of real power when it comes to Mitrovic’s sale this summer.
If the club can get enough for Mitro to buy Slimani it’s a no brainer for me as different class.
Mitro is currently not a premier league quality player, but in a few years who knows…..
