Fellow Newcastle United fans have got a little bit excited this morning, and for good reason, with Footy Headlines revealing what they claim to be the club’s new away kit for the 2018/19 season.
After mixed reaction to the potential new home kit leaked by the site earlier this week (see it here), this one has gone down VERY well – with it clearly being modelled on the popular away kit used over the 1995/96 season.
The alleged #NUFC away kit for the 2018/19 Premier League season..
Now THIS is a kit I'd buy! ???

Here’s what Footy Headlines had to say after leaking the club’s potential away kit for the 2018/19 season:
“Based on Puma’s trademark raglan sleeve style, the Newcastle United 2018-19 away jersey has dark blue and red hoops, a design inspired by the legendary 95-96 change shirt.
“The base of the Newcastle 18-19 away kit is paired with classy golden details in the form of the supplier and sponsor logos.
“It remains to be seen which colours will be used for shorts and socks of the Newcastle United 2018-2019 away uniform.”
Now, I know what you’re all thinking ‘this is probably just a fake’. There’s been no confirmation yet, but Football Headlines have tended to get it spot on over the years:
Newcastle fans have responded brilliantly to it so far – so it looks like this one will fly off the shelves IF it does prove to be the kit used by the club next season:
