  • According to the Mirror’s Simon Bird, Rafa Benitez wants the club’s transfer plans to be sorted before Sunday’s game against Chelsea – also suggesting that there’ll be no excuses when it comes to recruitment this summer – Full story here. 
  • NUFC loan star Kenedy has admitted that he still doesn’t know where he’ll be playing next season, but has opened the door to a return  this summer – saying how happy he’s been playing for such a ‘great’ Newcastle United side – Full story here. 
  •  Newcastle United have joined West Ham and Swansea in the race to sign Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen according to a report in the Sun this morning – Full story here. 
  •  According to the Telegraph’s Luke Edwards, Newcastle look set to make between £60-£80m after our first year back in the Premier League – however the “pot of cash” currently being offered to Benitez is NOT at that level – Full story here. 

  • Rafa Benitez has admitted that a deal to sign Martin Dubravka should be ‘easy’, but admits that a decision has not been made on anyones future – refusing to rule out a return for Islam Kenedy or Islam Slimani – Full story here.
