Tottenham trio ruled out of tomorrow’s game – and NUFC fans will love what this could now mean

Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed today that midfield trio Mousa Dembele, Eric Dier and Harry Winks will all miss out out our clash with Spurs tomorrow – meaning Moussa Sissoko could be in line for a rare start against his former club.

Midfield maestro Mousa Dembele has been ruled out with an ankle problem, however the Tottenham boss revealed today that Eric Dier will also be absent after a sudden onset of sickness and fever.

With fellow midfielder Harry Winks ruled out for the season, this looks set to leave Spurs a little light in midfield. Step in Moussa Sissoko.

The Frenchman has enjoyed a better season under Pochettino after a nightmare debut season with Spurs, however he has started just three league games since the turn of the year.

Considering his poor end to life at Newcastle United and £35m move to realise his ‘Champions League dream’, it will be interesting to see how gets on against us at Wembley tomorrow night.
