With less than two weeks until they are set to be officially released, the alleged fixtures for the opening day of the 2018/19 Premier League season have been ‘leaked’ online – with the claims that Newcastle will face a trip to FULHAM on Saturday 11th August.
Nothing is confirmed as of yet (so do take this with a pinch of salt and don’t start booking your trains to London just yet!), however the prospect of a trip to Craven Cottage against a newly promoted Fulham is a very interesting one.
This was the first fixture of our 2016/17 season in the Championship and a game that’ll be made even more interesting if Aleksandar Mitrovic ends up sealing a move to West London this summer!
The ‘leak’ comes after 501 Football News released the following image of what they claim to be the set of fixtures for the opening day of the 2018/19 campaign:
