NUFC winger set for talks with Wolves, Watford & Leeds after being axed by Benitez – Report

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle winger Yasin Ben El-Mhanni is attracting interest from Wolves, Watford and Leeds – with the 22-year-old all set to leave the club when his contract expires this summer.

The winger – known for his impressive free style skills – signed on Tyneside two years ago, however he’s failed to make any major impact at U-23 level, making just two cup appearances in the senior team as a result.

His contract expires this month and it’s been confirmed that he won’t be getting a renewal, meaning he’ll be free to leave this summer.

The Mail now claim that there’s FOUR clubs interested in snapping him up on a free, claiming Watford, Wolves, Leeds and Sporting Lisbon are all weighing up a move to sign him.

He arrived as a highly-rated talent tipped to show his speed and skill but we didn’t really see either during his short spell at St James’ Park.

After seeing how Kevin Mbabu has flourished since leaving NUFC, let’s hope El-Mhanni isn’t another we live to regret.
