NUFC confirm Ki Sung-Yueng signing – & reveal new home kit for the 2018/19 season

Newcastle United have now confirmed the signing of South-Korean international Ki Sung Yeung – with the midfielder arriving on a free transfer and signing a two-year deal with the club.

The 29-year-old passed his medical this afternoon and has been confirmed as a Newcastle United player by the club’s official website, with him set to join the club on July 1st after his contract expires at Swansea City.

Not only that, the official pictures confirming his signature have revealed our new home kit for the 2018/19 season:

Here’s what he’s had to say in his first mini-interview since making the move to St James’ Park:

“I’m so pleased I can join the club. I was always pleasantly surprised when I came to St. James’ Park to play against Newcastle – there is a great atmosphere and the passion from the fans is a great support to the players.”

“Everyone knows how big this club is so I’m really looking forward to playing with my teammates and for the fans.”

Good signing?
