According to Pete Graves – a Sky reporter and NUFC fan – Rafa Benitez is currently working on some ‘exciting’ signings at NUFC – however he does admit that it’s still a big ‘IF’ as to whether he will be able pull them off.
With so many players linked over recent weeks and months, it’s hard to say which player (s) may be behind this intriguing claim from the Sky presenter, although recent links to the likes of Plea, Kenedy and Townsend allow us to have a decent guess.
Here’s what Graves said on the NUFC transfer front earlier today when asked if he had any news to share:
IF Rafa can pull off what he's trying it'll be exciting. But as always with #nufc… The size of the IF is always the hardest thing to judge. https://t.co/e2LwANBnxf

Intriuging stuff – but only IF Ashley is ready to release some funds to make it happen!
Who do you reckon this may be referring to? Might Rafa be looking to pull off a big signing no one saw coming?
After all, some of the biggest and best deals can be those you don’t see coming.
You’re killing me Pete, with the exciting “if’s”.
