The club have announced that all four of Newcastle’s away pre-season friendlies will be shown live in the UK on NUFC TV – however it will cost fans £4.95 to stream these games against St Patrick’s Athletic, Hull, Porto and Braga over the coming weeks.
It’s great to hear that they will be available to watch online (starting tonight), with pre-season always being an interesting watch in the build up to the new season, however this really is typical Mike Ashley isn’t it?
He’s charging fans for something most Premier League clubs offer for free. Another money making exercise despite the chronic lack of spending at NUFC so far this summer.
⚽? All four of Newcastle United's away pre-season games will be shown LIVE in the UK on NUFC TV.
Supporters can tune in to our matches against @stpatsfc, @HullCity, @FCPorto and @SCBragaOficial for just £4.95.

NUFC TV will also be streaming our home friendly with FC Augsburg at St James’ Park (Saturday 4th August at 3pm), however this is NOT included in the £4.95 package – with that covering away games only.
Here’s the four games that they’ll be covering (note that the Porto & Braga games will NOT be available outside the UK):
1 – St. Patrick’s Athletic (A) – Tuesday 17th July – 7.45pm kick off (Richmond Park)
2 – Hull City (A) – Tuesday 24th July – 7.45pm kick off (KCOM Stadium)
3 – FC Porto (A) – Saturday, 28th July – 7.30pm kick off (Estádio do Dragão)
4 – SC Braga (A) – Wednesday 1st August – 7.30pm kick off (Estádio Municipal de Braga)
Don’t get me wrong, I’ll pay it – it’s a fiver after all and I want to watch the lads in action – but you don’t get anything for free with Mike Ashley do you?
He is a greedy fat *******,,,

NUFC can go **** themselves!!. I will be spending no money on watching any game until they spend some proper money on players.
I was thinking of taking my boy to the Augsburg game – but that won’t be happening.
I remember going to a friendly against Gateshead when we’d just signed Les Ferdinand, David Ginola, David Batty, Warren Barton and Shaka Hislop – added to an already very good team.
Gone are those days!!, can you imagine NUFC signing a player as good as Sir Les now?!.
So no, NUFC can shove their stream up their ****!!.
