Newcastle’s summer of pre-season friendlies got off to a winning star last night, with goals from Sean Longstaff and Christian Atsu sealing a 2-0 win over St Patrick’s Athletic in Ireland.
Longstaff capped an impressive first-team debut with a well taken finish in the first half, whilst Atsu scored from the spot in the second half to make it two.

A controlled finish from Longstaff and great work from Atsu in the build up to our second, with it being his perfectly weighted pass in behind to Gayle in the build up to the penalty.
