According to The Sun’s Tom Roddy and The Chronicle’s Lee Ryder, we have now added 18-year old talent Rosaire Longelo to our U-23 ranks – with the former West Ham wide man signing a four-year deal with the club today.
The reporter claims that the English youngster passed his medical today, so it looks like he’ll be one for the development squad or Newcastle United second string.
Here’s confirmation of the deal:
Line about Rosaire Longelo – who signed for club's development squad today. The 18-year-old was on trial at Boro but impressed against #nufc who then picked him up after his release from #whufc

The youngster made 28 appearances for West Ham U-18’s last season, bagging 4 goals and 1 assist – featuring twice for their U-23 side in the Premier League 2.
He is able to operate both at left-back and as a left-winger and has previously played at U-18 level for both Norwich and Middlesbrough (with appearances for both believed to have been trials).
Good luck to him. Hopefully one for the future and a player to watch out for at U-23 level over the coming seasons.
