Sky Sports’ Keith Downie has confirmed in the last few moments that Fulham look set to pay Newcastle an initial £22m for Aleksandar Mitrovic – with the fee ‘potentially’ rising to a stunning £27m with add-ons.
This really is a brilliant piece of business for NUFC (providing we reinvest!), with the last official offer for him being just shy of £8m from Brighton in January!
The striker was with the Newcastle squad in Portugal yesterday, however he’s now on his way back to England tonight after news that Fulham agreed a fee for the striker over the last few hours.
Here’s confirmation of that fee, with Sky’s Keith Downie confirming that he may end up costing Fulham £27m:
Understand the fee agreed between Fulham & Newcastle for Aleksandar Mitrović is £22m, in a deal that could potentially rise to £27m with add-ons.

He may be a talented young striker with real potential to thrive in the right team, but this is a superb bit of business for us.
I’m not banking on it, but et’s hope Rafa now receives a big chunk of that fee!
More money in the FAT mans back pocket just watch Lascelles will be gone next
