TEAM NEWS: Newcastle announce team to play Porto tonight – Kenedy out – Schar involved

The teams are out for tonight’s game with Porto at the Estadio do Dragao and Rafa Benitez has named a strong side – although Kenedy is still missing following the birth of his child this week.

Here’s the team:

(4-2-3-1): Dubravka – Yedlin, Clark, Lascelles, Dummett –  Shelvey, Diame -Ritchie, Perez – Murphy, Joselu.

SUBS: Elliot, Darlow, Longstaff, Sterry, Schar, Yarney, Roberts, Fernandez, Armstrong, Hayden, Roberts.

Good to see NUFC new boy Fabian Schar on the bench ahead of his potential debut.

Armstrong is back in the squad, Gayle is involved (from the bench) despite links with West Brom, Aarons is NOT included after being left out of the trip to Portugal and there’s also no Aleksandar Mitrovic – who’s on his way back to the UK after Fulham agreed a fee with Newcastle tonight.

Kick off at 8pm folks! Let’s hope it’s a big turn out for Sir Bobby!
