Striker spotted getting picture with NUFC fan on Tyneside – Signing number six now imminent?

As confirmed by The Chronicle, West Brom striker Salomon Rondon has now arrived on Tyneside to complete a move to St James’ Park.

Lee Ryder states that the deal is ‘not done yet’, however a Newcastle fan has already been spotted getting a picture with the Venezuelan striker at the Hilton hotel (Gateshead) today.

Here’s confirmation from Lee Ryder, who’s latest piece confirms that he’s now only got the ‘formalities’ of his loan move having already agreed terms with the club:

The Chronicle have also confirmed that Gayle is now having ‘face to face’ talks with Darren Moore, so looks like his move to West Brom is also close to completion – meaning the pair will swap clubs for the upcoming season.

Gayle’s move is said to be a straight loan (so he could yet have a future at the club and return next season), with us paying a £2m loan fee for Rondon – which is said to include an option to sign him on a permanent deal next summer.

  1. Dont Hold your breath lads and lasses but Gayle still needs to be convinced too go to WBA ,just because he is having talks dos not mean its gonna happen . Got a gut feeling he will say no too them and leave the deal dead in the water.
