Just hours after being ‘rejected’ by PSG’s Stanley N’Soki, Bristol Post reporter Gregor MacGregor has confirmed that an unnamed Premier League club has showed ‘late interest’ in Joe Bryan – making us wonder if we are now back in for the Championship left-back?
Benitez’s interest in the 24-year old was confirmed last month, however our interest appeared to fade following our attempts to sign PSG’s Stanley N’Soki over the past week.
It seems a deal for the Frenchman is now dead, with him ‘rejecting’ our recent offer, making us wonder if Benitez has now turned his attentions back to Bryan?
Aston Villa and Middlesbrough have BOTH had £6m bids accepted for the Bristol City star and, whilst it seems like a move to Villa Park is likely, the following tweet makes us wonder if we have now reignited our interest in the left-back after failing to sign N’Soki:
Also understand that Joe Bryan has chosen #AVFC over #Boro although am told that there might yet be some late Premier League interest in him. Most likely to become a Villan very shortly though

Argentinian international Nicolas Tagliafico has been mentioned as a potential alternative to N’Soki, with The Chronicle confirming Rafa’s interest recently, however Bryan’s availability at just £6m seems like a bargain – and a deal we’d be in pole position to complete given he’s been tipped to earn a move to the Premier League all summer.
One to watch with under 48 hours left to do business?
