Newcastle United have officially announced the signings of Yannick Toure and Rosaire Longelo – with both set to be added to our U-23 ranks ahead of the new Premier League 2 season.
Toure – who arrives from BSC Young Boys – is a 17-year old striker, 6ft 1′ tall and rated as one of the most promising young talents in Switzerland (despite being born in Senegal), whilst Longelo, 18, signs from West Ham – being a player able to operate as a left-back or left winger.
Newcastle's under-23s kick off their PL2 campaign at @WBA tomorrow, and the club can confirm the signings of youngsters Yannick Toure and Rosaire Longelo.

Toure recently represented Switzerland at U-18 – scoring twice on his debut – and had also enjoyed an impressive spell in Young Boys’ youth sides, with 24 goals in 25 games at U-18 level and 7 goals in 14 games at U-21 level – and impressive feat given he’s only 17.
Longelo made 28 appearances for West Ham U-18’s last season, bagging 4 goals and 1 assist – also featuring twice for their U-23 side in the Premier League 2.
Both will link up with Ben Dawson’s Under-23 squad ahead of Monday night’s opening game of the Premier League 2 season away to West Brom.
Good luck to them both – hopefully two future stars who we see a lot more of in the years to come!
